The Mongolian National Audit Office organized a discussion under the theme
“Enhancing the Impact of Performance Audit through Collaboration.”
Representatives from key stakeholder institutions — including the Secretariat
of the State Great Khural (Parliament), the Ministry of Finance, international
organizations, professional associations, research institutions, media, and
civil society organizations — participated in the event to exchange ideas on
developing effective cooperation.
The event aimed to strengthen active collaboration with stakeholders. At
the outset, Mr. Z. Tsedenzhav, Deputy Auditor General of Mongolia, presented
the revised draft of the Stakeholder Engagement Strategy of the State Audit Organization
and invited participants to share their views. The discussion also focused on
opportunities to overcome challenges together.
The meeting was joined by Ms. Archana Shirsat, Deputy Director General, and
Ms. Marita Salgrave, Senior Manager, of the INTOSAI Development Initiative
(IDI), who shared international good practices and emphasized their importance.
By enhancing stakeholder engagement, the State Audit Organization aims to
improve the implementation of budget oversight, ensure the follow-up of audit
recommendations, and support greater transparency in government institutions.
