The Auditor General of Mongolia, Mr. Magnaisuren Sandag, today (17 December 2025) received Mr. Arif Zencirci, Director General, and Mr. Adem Gülsever, Principal Auditor, for a courtesy meeting.  

The meeting was attended by Mr. Mustafa Bütün, Ulaanbaatar Program Coordinator of TIKA; Mr. Furkan Fidan, Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Mongolia; and other representatives.  At the outset, Auditor General Mr. Magnaisuren welcomed Mr. Zencirci and Mr. Gülsever and wished them success in their official visit to the Mongolian National Audit Office (MNAO). The parties exchanged views on strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation between the two supreme audit institutions. 

The delegation from the Turkish Court of Accounts expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and conveyed their readiness to renew the Memorandum of Understanding with the MNAO in the near future.  

Cooperation between the two supreme audit institutions was actively maintained until 2019 but became dormant due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As part of the Auditor General’s policy to restore and strengthen international cooperation, a formal request was conveyed by official letter to Mr. Metin Yener, President of the Turkish Court of Accounts, to revive and intensify collaboration with key partner institutions. In response, a delegation led by Mr. Arif Zincirci is currently paying an official visit to Mongolia.
